PIA gets permission to operate more flights to Saudi Arabia.


Islamabad, CEO PIA Air Marshal (Retd) Arshad Malik thanked Pakistan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, General (Retd) Bilal Akbar for his efforts that led to grant of addition flights to Saudi Arabia.

PIA Country Manager , Saudi Arabia, Jan Muhammad Meher met the officials of General Authority of Civil Aviation Saudi Arabia- GACA and got the formal approvals.

On the Instructions of CEO PIA, Air Marshal (Retd) Arshad Malik PIA will operate 48 flights per week from the previous 33 flights per week.
PIA will operate 08 flights each to Damam and Madinah, 09 flights to Riyadh and 23 flights to Jeddah from major cities of Pakistan.
The reason for mounting extra flights is to compensate and facilitate travel of passengers including workers that was previously restricted due to covid.-
