Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi felicitated Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Imran Khan for his PTI’s victory in the parliamentary elections.


Islamabad: According to the details issued by party’s Central Media Department Indian PM Narendra Modi made a telephone call to Chairman PTI Imran Khan and congratulated him for his victory in the elections. “India desires progressive relations with Pakistan”, said Indian PM. He said that both countries must adopt a joint strategy to develop and strengthen better ties.

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf thanked Indian PM for the felicitations and warm wishes. Imran Khan stressed upon the need to take measures from both countries to invest in poverty reduction and pull millions out of poverty.

Stressing on the importance of dialogue Chairman PTI stated that issues must be resolved through table talks.
“Wars can breed tragedies instead of facilitating resolution of conflicts”, marked Chairman PTI.
