Force and people of Balochistan bravely defeated terrorism: Gen Asim


QUETTA: Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa has said, under a conspiracy against Pakistan the menace of terrorism was averted toward Balochistan but forces and brave masses bravely defeated terrorism.
“Today Balochistan is on track of development because the disgruntled Baloch fighters have conceded their mistake and returning towards their families that indicates people of Balochistan have rejected the so-called movement against Pakistan.” Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa said while addressing an award ceremony conducted by FC Balochistan on Monday.
“Frontier Corps Balochistan has rendered colossal sacrifice for restoring peace in the province and performing duties in remote parts of the province to protect the masses.” Asim Saleem Bajwa said adding with the support of people armed forces gained major achievement in curbing out terrorism.
Inspector General of FC Balochistan Major General Nadeem Anjum, IG Police Mohsin Butt, Deputy Speaker NA Qasim Khan Suri, Provincial Minister and Military and Civil officials were present in the ceremony.
Talking on series of terror attacks in Balochistan Commander Southern Command said, people of Balochistan have witnessed severe violence in face of terrorism and sectarian attacks but with the joint efforts of armed force today peace was palpable in Balochistan,
“Pak Army, FC, Balochistan Police and Levis have been deployed to serve for the deprived people of Balochistan and our armed forces remained steadfast in protecting the lives and properties of people of Balochistan.”
He added, today Center, Provincial Government and Military leadership on one page for the development of Balochistan citing we have launched Balochistan Development Program which would lead the province on the edge of success and prosperity,
“There is severe need of social and economic development in Balochistan which is for Pakistan Army ready to support and assist provincial government at any level.” Asim Saleem Bajwa said adding we are ready to help provincial government for police reforms
