Islamabad- Federal Minister for Interior Brig (R) Ijaz Ahmad Shah met with the Ambassador of Bosnia H.E. Mr. Sakib Forik at the Ministry of Interior. While discussing bilateral ties, the Minister said that the two countries have always enjoyed good terms. To which the Ambassador responded that we would like to take things further and make these cooperation terms even better. Matters pertaining to visas were also discussed and the Interior Minister said that improving visa facilities is one of our topmost priority and we have successfully executed it to a greater extent. We tend to further streamline the system for smooth functioning, he added.
Upon addressing the matter of Illegal Immigirants, the Minister said that we are in process of completely eliminating this problem. We have improved security checks at the airport and introduction of E-Passport is also on cards to ensure that no one can travel on forged documents. We hope to minimize and eventually fully solve this problem soon, he added. The Bosnian Ambassador thanked Minister for his time and positive response to discussed matters. He also hoped that mutual cooperation will strengthen over time between the two countries.
