Karachi, May 15: CPLC East Zone along with SSP East on Tuesday handed over more than a dozen mobile phones to their owners whose mobile phone were either stolen, snatched or went missing in last few months.

On Tuesday in a function organised by CPLC East Zone in SSP East office, Chief CPLC East Mr. Abid Ozair, member East Faisal Hashmi and member East Shabbar Raza along with SSP East Dr. Sami Ullah Soomro handed recovered mobile phones to their owners.

Mr. Abid Ozair, Chief of East zone said, “Generally we have found that those whose mobile got stolen, snatched or went missing, they have made perception that their mobile phone would not get returned. We traced such mobile phones and gave it to its owners to change this perception.” He also said that “It’s a gift before Ramazan to the owners from CPLC East Zone and SSP East to develop their faith and belief in LEA’s”.

SSP East Dr. Sami Ullah Soomro emphasized the need for reporting crime at the earliest so that crime pattern can be developed to track down criminals and handover valuables to the rightful owners as is being done today in the form of returning cell phones to the victim of street crimes.

The owners of mobile phone thanked CPLC East Zone and SSP East for the efforts they are putting in and addressing their grievance on time.
