Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Mianwali Rail Car. He said that Sh.Rasheed Ahmad, Fedreral Minister, thinks about common man. He said that special attention will be given for development of Pakistan Railways as it is a mode of transport of common man. While his address, Federal Minister mentioned that Pakistan Railways is going to increase its freight trains in initial 100 days of this government. He also told that Pakistan Railways is working on Quetta –Taftan Section. He welcomed Prime Minister to inaugurate Railway Station at Gawader.He said that for regional connectivity standard gauge shall be used. On directions of Prime Minister, he announced that there will be free ticket for senior citizens, aged 75 years. And 50% concession will be given to blind people. He also added that till mid of October two trains will be started in Sind. He also showed interest in starting Rehman Baba train. He also asked for Prime Minister Direction to upgrade the grade of Pakistan Railways laborers. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Aftab Akbar, CEO Pakistan Railways, Farukh Taimur Ghilzai, Secretary Railway Board, Munawar Shah, DG Technical and Maryam Gillani,DG Operations.
