Lahore, Pakistan Peoples Party does not want the Prime Minister Imran Khan to commit suicide for going to IMF rather we want PM to go back to IMF and strike a deal in favour of the people of Pakistan.
This was said by the Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while talking to media in Lahore.
Chairman PPP said that it is unfortunate that PTI government is against the civil society and the national and international NGOs. These NGOs work for the people of Pakistan like the civil society which works for the education, human rights and similar causes.
Responding to a question about Nawaz Sharif and PML-N, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP wants to work with the opposition so that we can put pressure on the government. The PPP is the only party which has always raised its voice for the poor and unemployed. PPP government had increased the wages and pension so that the poor of the country could face the economic difficulties and keep their home and hearth.
It is the government which is admitting that inflation has increased many folds. It is not the FBR or any other department to talk about price hike rather the people of Pakistan are better judge whether they are poorer or better in this PTI government. The economic policy of the government should be based upon how the lives of people of Pakistan can be made easy not on the sole point of returning money to the IMF. Imran Khan had sent Nawaz Sharif to London and now is telling lies. Imran wants to continue his puppet government and for that he is doing everything.
Responding to questions he said that we want that Pakistan should take action against terror dens in Pakistan if there is any. President Zardari was not given proper medical treatment while he was under custody but now he is being treated well. Missing person is a problem and this is not being dealt property. We will continue to do efforts to resolve this issue.
The PPP workers are not entirely ready to take back the politicians who had left us in difficult times. Now we have to take every case separately. At this time our focus is towards the economic difficulties of the people. We hope that there is peace in Afghanistan but the deal should be in favour of Afghan people. Peace is impossible unless the process is an Afghan led process. He said that if talks are between the Taliban and the US then who will represent the Afghan people. We have seen too much war and we hope that there is peace in the region, he concluded.
