Lahore: Former speaker of National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has tested positive for novel coronavirus.
According to details, the former speaker has quarantined himself at his residence after contracting virus.
Reportdly, Ayaz Sadiq was quite active in welfare works in his constituency.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday tested positive for coronavirus as total cases continue to rise in the country.
On June 8, former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed tested positive for coronavirus followed by PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal and Marriyum Aurangzeb.
