Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan presided over a meeting to discuss issues of Transport department and Board of Revenue at CM Secretariat Peshawar. Chief Secretary, Kamran Baloch and other Administrative Secretaries participated in the meeting.
Mahmood Khan issued orders that both departments shall construct their buildings on the same government property with mutual understanding and agreement at Bannu. He further said, both are government departments and both are the asset of government. The cooperation of both the department with each other will remove all the hurdles for efficient disposal of official work and will make the official environment sound and safe.
He instructed that both departments should be housed in the same government building that will not only remove the communication gap between them but will also remove the complications in official works.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan presided over a meeting regarding technical college/campus issues of district Shangla and different other issues and plans of mines & mineral department. Minister Information Shaukat Yousafzai, Minister Mines & Mineral Dr. Amjad Ali Khan, Administrative Secretaries, Director Generals of both the departments participated in the meeting. Shaukat Yousafzai informed the meeting that no building is provided for Shangla University Campus in Shangla while Technical College Shangla, Government Girls Degree College Alpuri and ERRA buildings are laying vacant and these building may be utilized for Shangla University Campus so that Higher Education may flourish in District Shangla, on which Chief Minister said that Technical College Shangla and Girls Degree College Alpuri should remain in the current status while ERRA building should be handed over to Shangla University Campus, as to make a way out for the educated young of Shangla to get Higher education on equal footing like in other areas of the province. “This facility should be provided to Shangla as soon as possible”, he added.
In the meeting, a request has also been made to resolve all other genuine problems of Shangla district, on which Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assured that all the genuine problems of district Shangla should be looked into. The Chief Minister directed to send him a summary for the release of funds for Bannu Technical College.
The meeting was informed that the Mines & Mineral department has made 32 blocks in every division, the auction of which will boost the provincial own economy. The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa constituted a committee to streamline the working, functioning and looks into other allied issues of the department. He instructed the systematic collection of taxes to widen the fiscal base of the province and the resources collected thus, could be spent on the development and prosperity of the province.

ECNEC has approved Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project Peshawar in its meeting today on the special recommendation of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan. The BRT Peshawar project was approved after the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan the other day. Prime Minister Imran Khan made special orders for Inclusion of BRT project Peshawar in its agenda and approval, for which Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa thanked the premier.
BRT Peshawar project is a unique and the only project in the province giving one solution to all traffic hazards and congestions, that is also a master plan for the development and overall beautification of Peshawar. The project is a step towards the restoration of past grandeur of Peshawar. Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan assured after approval resources could be generated for the early completion of BRT Project Peshawar. He instructed the relevant officials to start work on the overall master plan for beautification of Peshawar city. He was optimistic that after the completion and repairing works in the whole city, the outlook of capital of the province could be improved considerably.
