The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has assured that social and economic development as well as infrastructure uplift of all regions of the province would be given equal importance . He said under a comprehensive plan , serious efforts were underway for exploiting the tourism and energy production potential of Hazara and Malakand Divisions which would pave the way for generating huge economic development and employment opportunities for youth of these areas. He said that the previous PTI government’s endeavors for eliminating corruption and introducing governance reforms greatly persuaded the common people of the province to bring the PTI in power once again.
Speaking as chief guest at a public gathering held at Kaghan House, Abbottabad on Sunday the Chief Minister said his government was pursuing the 100 day plan devised for the present provincial government and outcome of the strategy would soon be shared with the people of the province.
The public meeting was arranged by the former PPP provincial minister Syed Ahmed hussain Shah who, along with all family members and supporters, announced joining the PTI.
The Federal Minister Muhammad Azam Swati, Speaker KP Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani, The Provincial ministers Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, Akbay Ayub Khan, Haji Qalander Lodhi, MNA Riaz jadoon, MPAs Arshad Ayub Khan, Maleha Ali Ashgar and Momina Basit, local bodies’ members, the PTI local Leaders, workers and large number of common people attended the function.
The Chief Minister said that the ruling party’s chairman and Prime Minister Imran Khan is savior of the entire nation who will never allow the people to suffer due to corruption of others and mal practices in the public institutions. He said the PTI government in the province would continue to follow the vision of Imran Khan to put the province on the track of progress and prosperity.
Assuring protection of the rights of Suki Kinari Dam and earthquake 2005 victims Mahmood Khan said issues related to the Dam and New Bakrial City would be resoved in consultation with all stakeholders including affectees and a feasible plan would be devised in this connection. He further said that commitments made to Hazara would be fulfilled in an effective manner.
Stressing the need for further strengthening the PTI in Hazara Division the Chief Minister welcomed Ahmed Shah for his decision for joining PTI.
Meanwhile addressing a press conference the Chief Minister told that process of reorganization of the PTI would be initiated within a month time. To a question he said condition of health facilities in four major medical institutes and DHQ hospital have been improved and all required medicines were made available. He however said that reservations regarding constitution of Board of Directors would be removed properly. He made it clear that certain major projects of the province had faced suspension of funds due to the election process, but, he added, the same have now been released after formation of the new government.
The chief minister also met with separate representative delegations of Suki Kinari Dam and New balakot City and listened to their problems and demands.
