AJK PM urges overseas Kashmiris to highlight rights abuses in Kashmir.

Describing United Nations Human Rights Commissions (UNHRC) Report on gross violations of human in Occupied Kashmir as the most significant development, Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan urged overseas Kashmiris to play their proactive role in exposing real face of India before the world.

He expressed these views during his meeting with Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Right to Self Determination Moment (International) Raja Najabat Hussain and Director General Kashmir Liberation Cell Fida Hussain Kiyani here on Monday.

The Prime Minister said that AJK Government will welcome UNHRC’s fact finding mission to Azad Kashmir and expressed his hope that Indian Government will also allow the mission to visit occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The Prime Minister said that sacrifices rendered by Kashmiri people have brought Kashmir issue to the limelight and now the world has started listening the voices of the people of Kashmir.

He further said that undaunted resistance demonstrated by the people of Kashmir has put the India in defensive position at international level.

Welcoming the UNHRC report on Kashmir, premier called upon the United Nations to send a fact finding mission into occupied Kashmir at the earliest to assess the human right situation there.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the efforts of Jammu Kashmir Right to Self Determination Moment in highlighting the Kashmir issue at global level and added that more concerted efforts are needed by overseas Kashmiris to highlight Kashmir issue in its true perspective.

Earlier Chairman Right to Self Determination Moment Raja Najabat Hussain and Director General Kashmir Cell Fida Hussain Kiyani briefed the Prime Minister about the activities of the organisation in UK and Europe.
